What's Brewing
Week of 8.23.10

The Countdown to the *NEW* Seattle24x7 Has Begun!

After nine years of covering the Seattle Internet landscape like the berry vines of summer and the rain dance of winter, listing hundreds of Seattle area company startups, thousands of job openings and industry events, dozens of interviews with online business leaders and innovators, and scores of advisory, tech and investment columns written by resident E-City experts, Seattle24x7's legacy has been nothing less than memorable -- but our best work is yet to come!

The countdown has begun for the altogether more functional and synchronized, Web 3.0 version of Seattle's first-ever online business commiunity and its one-and-only, dot-com combination of Company Directory, Community dialogue and distinctive Commentary to launch anew. The new Seattle24x7 Website will debut just a few short days from now!

The new Seattle24x7.com will present dramatic new capabilities that will reward our loyal followers and challenge our stalwart contributors. Visitors will have the ability to subscribe to our online business Calendar and receive the region's most comprehensive listing of local industry events in their Email box or RSS reader. Looking for a Seattle area job? Subscribe to the Seattle24x7 Jobs feed and be among the first to put your resume into the job stream! Synchronized site functions will let you add events to your own Calendar software and locate event locations and driving instructions on the map.

The new Website will also make it easier for readers to contribute their thoughts and ideas by commenting on select stories, and by submitting articles and press releases for publication.

As the summer of 2010 draws to a close, an exciting, new season is budding for Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Southsound and Eastside online news, events, and information. We hope you enjoy the many changes that Seattle24x7 has online for you!
